Each year, employees with the Pickens County
Sheriff’s Office honor one of their own by voting for “Officer of
the Year.” There is only
one officer chosen yearly. Recipients’ of this award are truly
honored because it is voted on by their peers, the same people they
work beside and with daily. Below are the Pickens County Sheriff’s
Office “Officers of the Year.” The dedicated Deputies below reflect
almost 600 years of combined service to the citizens of Pickens
County.
“There is no higher honor than
human service. To work
for the common good is the greatest deed.”
